How to setup Default Homepage in Internet Explorer Version 5.0 |
- Start the Internet Explorer by clicking on the IE icon.
- Go to the page that you want IE to start at each time you
start the Internet Explorer.
- Go to Tools ---> Internet Options
- Click on the General tab
- Click on Use Current.

- Go to the page you would like to add to your favorites
folder.
- Click on the Favorites icon and choose Add to Favorites.

Outlook Express Email |
- Start the Outlook Express by double-clicking it on your
desktop.
- Go to Tools--->Accounts
- Click on the Mail Tab and then click Add...
then Mail.
- Type in your Name in the Display name field: (It might already
be there if you just configured the news service but you can change it if you want) Click Next.
- Put a dot next to I already have an email address that I'd
like to use. Then type in your email address.
It might already be there.
Click Next.
- You should select POP3 as the incoming mail
server.
- Type in mail.cyberbay.net as the Incoming
mail (POP3 or IMAP) server:
- Type in mail.YOURDOMAIN.net or as the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: (Make sure you do not
transpose the p and the t) Click Next.
- For Account Name, type in your username also know as
login ID. example: your email address is johndoe@cyberbay.net therefore your POP account
is johndoe.
- Type in your password. Make sure Caps Locks keys are off. Must
be in Lowercase. Click Next.
- Click Finish.
- You should be back at the Internet Accounts page.
- To add additional email accounts for yourself just do the same
process over. If you are done, click Close.
- You can check all mail for all accounts

set up Outlook Express with individualized settings |
Individualized settings allow
multiple person to use the computer and retain separate address books and separate inbox
and outbox. Outlook Express calls these Identities.
- Once you opened Outlook Express, go to File ->
Identities -> Manage identities.
- Click on New, and type in the name of the
second person. i.e. Joe Smith.
- Outlook Express will ask you "Do you want to switch to Joe
Smith now?" Click on Yes.
Outlook will restart at this point to setup the profile for the second user.
- Type in your Name in the Display name field: (It might already
be there if you just configured the news service but you can change it if you want) Click Next.
- Put a dot next to I already have an email address that I'd
like to use. Then type in your email address.
It might already be there.
Click Next.
